Károly Mühlbeck (1869-1943), artist. Coloured, inscribed drawing.

Mühlbeck gave life to Gábor Göre, the famous figure dreamed up by Géza Gárdonyi, creating one of the most popular figures of the time. Below the watercolour, which was probably made as a gift, a four-line inscription can be read: "Lyó égésségöt and lyök lyök kivan to my dear Mr. Gál with old friendship Mühlbeck K. 1926."

Dimensions: 290 x 200 (340 x 255) mm.
