Colored copperplate map of Hungary. Created by Franz Hogenberg after Wolfgang Lazius' paper. It appeared in the atlas of Abraham Ortelius "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum" , published in several languages - about 40 editions. The disc has been repaired several times, the numerous variants show barely noticeable differences.
Size: 355 x 495 (380 x 550) mm. Nice copy with contemporary coloring, in passe-partout, framed.
