An exceptionally rare early document of Hungarian modernism and Bauhaus history. This volume marks the printed debut of the nineteen-year-old Zoltán Csuka and preserves the early creative collaboration between the author and his roommate, Farkas Molnár, who later achieved international recognition as an architect and member of the Bauhaus.
Likely issued in a very small print run and, as a children’s book, especially vulnerable to wear and loss, surviving copies are of the utmost rarity. To our knowledge, no example has appeared at auction, and no institutional copy is currently recorded. A remarkable and little-known relic of early twentieth-century Hungarian artistic life.
