With a remarkable dedication on the title page: „Elek bátyámnak szívbéli szeretettel ajánlom ezt a lelkemből kinőtt írást. Talán ez is csupán az értéke. Kós Károly Sztána, 1925. szept. 6.” (To my brother Elek, with heartfelt affection I dedicate this writing that grew out of my soul. Perhaps this is its only value. Károly Kós, Sztána, Sept. 6, 1925).
This copy, testifying to the friendship of two giants of Transylvanian literature, possesses significance far beyond literary history.

Provenance: The subscriber’s copies of the Szépmíves Céh were provided with publisher’s ex libris slips bearing the recipient’s name. The esteem for the dedicatee is shown by the label pasted here, which reads: „Benedek Eleknek igaz tisztelettel, hálás szeretettel a Szépmívesek” (To Elek Benedek, with true respect and grateful affection, the Szépmívesek).
