The recipient of the dedication, Gyula Mándi (formerly Mandl), was one of the most talented football players of the 1920s. He was Imre Schlosser’s teammate and the author of the book at MTK. As a coach, he served as Sebes' assistant from the start alongside the Golden Team, playing a significant role in their worldwide success. Later, he also served as the captain of the Israeli national football team, achieving great international success with them.
