The author was a royal judge in Transylvania and is remembered as one of the finest contemporary practitioners of pasquils. The poetic preface is attributed to the poet and playwright György Felvinczi. The work was republished in 1701. While the second edition has been offered at auction several times, the first edition has only appeared once so far.
