The complete series of one of the most significant periodicals of the Reform Era. Its editor was Mihály Dulházy, and its contributors included Kazinczy, the young Bertalan Szemere, János Kis, Izidor Guzmics, Count József Dessewffy, József Bajza, Gábor Döbrentei and András Fáy. Some interesting names among the subscribers include Count István Széchenyi, Palatine József, Archbishop Sándor Rudnay, Count József Teleki and Baron Miklós Wesselényi. The quarterly journal was published in a much smaller format from its fifth year onwards. It was suspended in 1833 due to financial difficulties. Our item contains a total of 36 plates, as opposed to the 42 described by Lakatos. The entire collection is exceptionally rare, but its value is significantly increased by the fact that each piece has been preserved in its original cover and binding.
