Autograph letter to Dr. Jenő Kollarits, addressed as „Tisztelt doktor úr!” (Dear Doctor!)
He informs the addressee that his father’s Gondolatok had been published twice in German translation; he has ordered the editions from the bookseller Kilián and will send them as a mark of esteem. (In a preceding letter preserved in the Academy’s Manuscript Department, Kollarits notes affinities between Eötvös József’s ideas and those of Gustave Le Bon, and asks about translations for a planned study.)
