Bust portrait of Prince Bethlen in an ornate baroque frame, with his motto Consilio firmata Dei above and, below, a roundel containing the family, Transylvanian, and eagle arms. One plate from a three-part series by the renowned Nuremberg engraver Lucas Kilian, who also engraved Frederick V, Elector Palatine, and Emperor Matthias. The likeness served as the model for later prints.
