The Libellus alphabeticus, compiled by the Jesuits for Catholic schools in Hungary, first appeared at Kassa in 1674. Numerous editions followed in the 18th century with minor changes. This copy’s structure is closer to the 1705 Bártfa edition (for more details, see lot 86 of our 16th auction).
