The author was a royal chamberlain and chief sergeant of the Transylvanian insurgents. The title page of the second work was bound at the beginning of the colligate. In it, Lázár translated the preface of Johann Andreas Demian’s Anleitung zum Selbststudium der Militärischen Dienstwissenschaft into Hungarian, with revisions, for the edification of “young noble warriors.”
