329. Verseghy Ferenc (transl.): A’ le-bilintsezett Prométheus.
... Aeschylusból, Egy régi Görög dramatikus Poétából.
Budán, 1792. Landerer Katalin’ özvegy’ betőivel. (2)+46 [recte 64]+(6)p.
Verseghy's scarce prose drama translation and the first Aeschylus work published in Hungarian. What makes this piece even more special is that it has preserved its original cover, with the series title: "A’ Budai magyar theátrum, mellyben válogatottabb néző, víg, és szomorú játékok olvastatnak. Első szakasz. II. Darab". On the back is a description of the Landerer printing house, and the workshop also recommends its services to the reader. On the back cover, some advertisements appear with their publications, revealing that the first piece of the series was a Kotzebue translation (also Verseghy's work).
Modern hardpaper. Original cover bound inside. Upper part of the title page cropped (text not affected).
