The author was the notary of Zemplén County, then held various offices. In 1790-91, he was the county's representative to the National Assembly. After losing his position, he retired to his estate in Zemplén. He wrote numerous works on local history. This is his last published work, dedicated to viticulture and winemaking in Tokaj-Hegyalja – an important document of Hungarian wine culture.
Signed, blue leather with orange title on spine. The front cover decorated with a vine shoot and a bunch of ripe grapes emerging from behind a leaf; the back cover with a small leaf and tendril motif. In hardpaper case.
