The second complete Hungarian grammar book including syntax was first published in 1682. The influence of Albert Szenczi Molnár's work can be directly detected. In addition, this grammar is an outstanding piece of Hungarian Catholic grammar literature, which summarizes its principles and practice. It can be traced back to György Káldi, and was also approved by Péter Pázmány. Pereszlényi's work was used as a textbook in Jesuit schools.
