Antal Szirmay sent the manuscript of his work on the history of the Martinovics conspiracy to Kazinczy, who sharply criticized it. The first half of the manuscript contains Szirmay's work in Latin (with notes in Hungarian) on 63 typed pages, and the second part contains Kazinczy's vitriolic comments on 44 typed pages. Both writings remained in manuscript and were distributed in copies (our example is one of these).
