First Hungarian edition. The translator, Sándor Tolnay was a pioneer of Hungarian veterinary medicine and its first university professor. The author was commissioned to establish a veterinary department at the Faculty of Medicine in Pest. He recommended Tolnay to the Council of Governors as the head of the department.
