In ladies’ calendars it was common that engravings were inserted between the calendar pages instead of blank leaves. Here the charming genre scenes are hand-colored, with two-line verses printed beneath. According to Petrik IX. 186, the only known copy is preserved in the Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu; no Hungarian public collections hold a copy. The bibliography records 12 plates, so two are missing here. Even so, a unique and beautiful rarity.
