216. Elein való meg-teresnek gyümöltse.
Kolosvárat, 1760. Páldi István ny. 203+(5)p. Title page replaced by copy. One leaf (C2) torn, with some text loss.
First edition. Based on its typesetting, this is clearly the second known copy of the 1760 edition. Gedeon Borsa considered it typographically possible that a fragmentary copy preserved in Kecskemét had been printed in 1759 in Kolozsvár (MKsz 1972. 122–126). Today no record of this exists in the catalogues of the National Széchényi Library; however, based on Borsa’s description it almost certainly matches the 1773 Kolozsvár edition (now known from a copy with a title page). No data has since emerged to support the existence of an edition earlier than 1760, so this can currently be regarded as the first edition of the work. Later dated editions appeared in 1761, 1773, and 1820, also in Kolozsvár. Type area: 50 × 35 mm. At the end of the preface, the monogram B. H. W. M. appears, probably referring to Baron Miklós Wesselényi of Hadad. Since he was only nine years old at the time, it is more likely that the author was his tutor, Dániel Cornides. No auction records of this edition are known (only the 1820 edition has surfaced).
Worn, contemporary painted leather. Spine restored. Edges decorated with small punched floral ornaments.
