The work is the first comprehensive monograph on Hungary in Hungarian, which can also be considered the first local directory. The engraved frontispieces are the work of Sámuel János Czetter. In 1798, Vályi prepared an additional map (a map of Hungary, engraved by Ferenc Karacs), but most of the copies do not contain it (probably because of its large size).
