The manuscript contains one of Einstein‘s field equations, which were formulated to prove his theory of general relativity, perhaps his most important achievement. What makes our item even more exciting is that the master wrote it on a sheet with the letterhead from the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists. The committee was founded by Einstein and Leo Szilard in 1945.
