Francofurti, 1619. Impensis Haeredum Jacobi Fischeri, Excudebat Nicolaus Hoffmann. (16)+530p.

The volume's editor was the Calvinist professor, Johann Philipp Pareus of Heidelberg. In addition to the poems of Janus Pannonius, the anthology also includes a selection of poems by János Sommer, György Thury and János Filiczki (the latter two were members of the so-called "Heidelberg Circle"). Pareus was the initiator and leader of the so-called "irenic movement", urging reconciliation and peace between Protestant denominations. His ideas greatly influenced his Hungarian students, Péter Alvinci and János Samarjai.

The German National Bibliography describes two versions of the work, which can be easily distinguished based on the decoration on the title page.
