Scarce, engraved map of Hungary; a nearly forgotten page of an unpublished atlas. Most of the maps were published from 1821 in the magazine “Hasznos Mulatságok” edited by István Kultsár, who planned to collect them in the form of an atlas - but ultimately failed. Our lot was published as the part of the issues in 1833, but its copies inexplicably disappeared. The so far only known copy has been recently found in the library of the Hungarian Piarist Order, so it is not even included in Lajos Szántai’s reference book.
