The first representative collection of the lives of Hungarian saints and blesseds, first issued in 1692. Unlike the Hungarian version (see previous item), this edition includes 53 full-page copperplate engravings depicting the saints. The author, a Jesuit, is regarded as one of the leading figures of Baroque devotional literature in Latin. Many of his works were later translated into German and French.
