Ignác Hátsek was one of the most prolific map publishers of the era. After several professional maps, he published the first county atlas in 1880, which included the Croatian parts. He planned maps for school use that were essential in attracting children's attention, and these became perhaps the most beautiful series in the history of Hungarian maps. The beautifully coloured pieces feature typical buildings, agricultural and industrial products, etc. From the second half of the 1880s to the beginning of the 1900s, the sheets sold individually received numerous reprints, and the food publisher also sold them in atlases. Our complete atlas containing the pages of the decorative series is among the greatest rarities.
