Autograph humorous lines concerning the Baumgarten Prize.
„Ahogy a Baumgarten dijat kihirdették, a nyertes költők és kritikusok azonnal megállapodtak a címben: Baumgartenlaube. Én pedig, szakállamra célozva hozzátettem: Kaum Barten! Mert csak én voltam, aki a saját szakállamra költő lettem. Mert születni a költő is csupaszon születik. Juhász Gyula.” (As soon as the Baumgarten Prize was announced, the winning poets and critics immediately agreed on the title: Baumgartenlaube. And I, referring to my beard, added: Kaum Barten! Because I was the only one who became a poet on my own beard. For a poet too is born naked.)
The author was among the very first to receive the prestigious award, with its significant financial endowment, on January 18, 1929.
