147. István Ferenczy (1792–1856), sculptor. 

Autograph letter to András Fáy, addressed "Kedves Barátom!" (My Dear Friend!).
Ferenczy reassures the addressee that his Pest house had not suffered serious damage after the great flood, so he would not require the requested "quarter" in Buda. From a local history perspective, it is interesting that he mentions several nearby buildings and provides details about Fáy’s house as well.
