The lavishly decorated title page shows Our Lady of Hungary at the top, flanked by St. Adalbert and St. Ladislaus on the left, and St. Stephen and St. Emeric on the right. Around the oval frame bearing the title are the coats of arms of the Hungarian Crown lands, and below is a view of Nagyszombat, engraved by Justus van der Nypoort.
Original half leather. Both covers framed with floral ornamentation; the front with the double-headed eagle, the rear with the crowned Hungarian arms.
Poss.: Monogram “P. R. I. C(omes) H(ungariae)” on front cover.
