124. Neubarth, Christoph: Uj és O Kalendarium...
... Mellyet Christus születése után való 1682. irt, ~ Es most-is Magyar Országra, Erdélyre, és egyéb Tartományokra alkalmaztatott
Lőtsen, (1681.) Brewer Sámuel ny. (79)p.
The famous and widely popular Lőcse calendars were published by the Brewer family from 1625 onwards. Alongside the calendar tables and characteristic data of the year, they contain a prognosticon describing the expected weather, eclipses, wars, diseases, and monthly agricultural tasks. At the end are a fair list and a Hungarian chronicle running from 367 to 1681. From 1651 the calendars followed the works of the Silesian astrologer Christoph Neubarth. This is the last Hungarian-language Lőcse calendar issued under his name, as from the following year his son Johann was listed as author. Despite being among the most widely produced prints of the time, their ephemeral use makes surviving copies rare. No copy is preserved in Hungarian public collections; the only known one is in the University Library of Cluj.
