A cornerstone of Hungarian bibliographic literature, the first attempt to compile a retrospective national bibliography. Based on his own research and earlier lists, Sándor recorded about 200 sixteenth-century and more than 1,000 titles up to 1711, with author information appended. For this work, he is regarded as the first Hungarian bibliographer.
