Provenance: Ownership inscription “Steph: Wyttniedy” on title page. István Vitnyédi was an important political figure and lawyer, serving Sopron County and later Nádasdy and Miklós Zrínyi. He played a key role in the Wesselényi Conspiracy and owned a notable library of about 550 volumes.
