A rare first edition of a volume containing household and agricultural knowledge and tricks. The author was a true polymath and one of the interesting personalities of the Reform Era. In addition to his extensive literary work, he also wrote political, economic and pedagogical works. Pál Szemere rightly called him the "jack of all trades of the homeland". The work was published for the second time in 1833, and then a "new edition" was published in 1842. Fáy expanded the volume to about twice its size, supplemented it with an explanatory dictionary, and published the popular work for the fourth time in 1851.
