Based on the text of György Károli, Csipkés Komáromi produced the most accurate translation, which was recommended for publication by the Margitta Reformed Synod after the translator died in 1680. It was originally intended to be printed in Debrecen. The frontispiece was completed, but the work was finally published in Leiden in 4,200 copies. 2,915 copies reached the Hungarian border in February 1719, where they were confiscated, and almost the entire shipment was destroyed. The rest arrived in Debrecen in 1789. Part of the work - with independent pagination - „Szent Dávid-Soltári...” translated by Albert Szenczi Molnár.
