According to the title page, a critique of Jenő Gyurkovics’s bilingual work “A magyar törvény (?)” (The Hungarian Law). Nothing is known about the author or this book; the criticized work was likely the Hungarian–Serbian edition of the 1839–40 parliamentary acts. Jenő Gyurkovics of Subotica was inspector general of the Greek Orthodox state schools, who strove to advance Serbian minority education and promote sympathy for Hungarian causes.
