The first authentic depiction of Buda. Coloured woodcut, taken from the east, printed on two sheets. Published on pages 138-139 of the Latin edition of Hartmann Schedel's World Chronicle in Nuremberg in 1493. According to the reference books, it was based on the joint work of the artists contributing to the work, Michael Wolgemut and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff .
