Cassán, 1669. (Türsch Dávid János özvegye ny.) (24)+343+(1)p.
This treatise is the Catholic conclusion to the so-called Upper Hungarian religious debate initiated by Mátyás Sámbár's Three Questions of Salvation in 1661. Although Illyefalvi wrote his work primarily as a response to István Matkó's 1668 Bányász csákány (see our next item), he also intended it as a reply to the following Reformed polemical works, which are also mentioned in the title of this work: János Pósaházi: Görcsös bot... (Kassa 1668); Mihály Szathmárnémeti: Igasság próbakövének nyert peri (Sárospatak 1669); István Czeglédi: Redivivus Jáfetke (Kassa 1669). According to these, the book must have been published towards the end of 1669. Illyefalvi's work received no response, as the political situation of the Protestants no longer allowed the continuation of the debate.
