277. Zoltán Kodály (1882–1967), composer.
Autograph letter to Sándor Eckhardt, addressed “Kedves Barátom” (Dear Friend).
Kodály thanks him for his good wishes and mentions that Erzsébet Szőnyi is satisfied with Eckhardt’s fourth child. He asks whether he would consider compiling a “dictionnaire de style,” as once suggested to Kodály himself, and encourages him, noting that many interesting tasks still await him, perhaps even in Balassi research.
3 written pages, with the addressed envelope.
