The author of the poem was the first significant Hungarian female poet and the sister-in-law of Dániel Berzsenyi. Her poems were forwarded by József Elek Horváth to Kazinczy, János Kis, and Gábor Döbrentei. The latter published her first poem in Erdélyi Múzeum. No auction records are known.
