(Kolozsvár), 1671. (Veresegyházi Szentyel Mihály.) (158)p.
The second edition of the Reformed treatise is identical in content and layout to the first edition printed in Pápa in 1626. (Károly Szabó mistakenly described it as a Patak print.) István Pathai was a Reformed pastor, ecclesiastical writer, and at one time bishop of the Transdanubian diocese. This late, anonymous work attempts to expose everyone and everything Catholic through a dialogue between two fictional characters educated by the Jesuits, Diaphanes and Scotodulos. By the end of the dialogue, there can be no doubt about their new faith. Towards the end of the book (leaves Y5-6), a salacious epigram by Janus Pannonius can be read in Hungarian.
Slightly warped, contemporary vellum.
