Nagy Szombatba, 1580. Telegdi Miklós hazánál. (8)+757 [recte 758]+(2)p. The title page and the last eight leaves have been replaced with copies.
This third volume contains sermons for the feasts of the saints. Published somewhat later than the first two, as Telegdi explains in his preface, owing to illness and the time spent consulting the Fathers. Drawing on deep classical learning and pastoral experience, he intended his postils both to aid parish preachers and to promote moral edification. He probably translated the Gospel pericopes himself, adhering strictly to the Vulgate.
Modern half leather. Several leaves restored, with minor text losses; one major loss replaced by copy. Leaves 3–4 and 81–128 were sourced from a damaged copy and trimmed to fit during the restoration process.
