Issued under the fictitious name of a parish priest of Senkvice, this polemical work criticises the resolutions of the Lutheran synod held in Zsolna that same year. The response, published two years later under the pseudonym Petrus Petschius, was most likely written by Eliás Láni, Lutheran bishop of Nagybiccse, and titled “Malleus peniculi papistici”. Pázmány replied in the same year with his “Logi alogi”, which became the concluding piece of the controversy.
