Second Hungarian edition of the celebrated German physician’s work “Makrobiotik oder die Kunst das Leben zu verlängern”, first published in Hungarian one year earlier. The translator was Mihály Kováts, one of the most industrious Hungarian medical writers of his age and, from 1832, corresponding member of the Hungarian Learned Society. A third Hungarian edition appeared in 1825.
Slightly worn, contemporary half leather. Spine slightly damaged.
